Alright so honestly I'm sitting here wondering in terms of poisonous or venomous. Now we all know poisonous is when ingested, and venomous is injected. But then you have something like the spitting cobra....
Now the spitting cobra can spit its venom into the eyes of someone and it cause serious...
best I would suggest if it's flipped over, is use a dropper to apply a little moisture at the mouth, if it wants to drink it will. I don't think that will mess to much if it was molting, it certainly wont drown because it's booklungs are at the abdomen. But with it going on 24 and not a sign of...
lol. thank you. I have a lot of fun with them. I really wish there was more people around me interested in owning them but not making them so I could just make them for people and get paid to do it XD
@EulersK here's the link to that forum post where they were discussing such things. Took a while but found it: http://arachnoboards.com/threads/sick-t-blondi-please-help.286405/
Come by and say Hello. Still up and running. We have a few people who chat occasionally. The more people we have join the more to talk to as it were. Remember it is completely free no matter which option you choose, browser, computer app, or phone app. Doesn't cost a penny. Plenty of posting...
I think I remember reading that in a post around here somewhere. I think @Poec54 was the one that brought it up with the triangle thing. Him or @EulersK but don't quote me on that could've been someone else. I just remember them commenting on that post about the 'T.blondi' sold as unsexed but...
This is why I wont do OW's until my son is much older. I'm worried about him getting bit and being traumatized by the pain of it at the age he's at (He also doesn't understand to leave things alone yet when I tell him to.). I hope you're able to find it. I hope it doesn't manage to make it's way...
I believe I see spermathecae there so I'd go with female. Isn't there another way to tell with T. stirmi that has to do with like if it's male it'll have a dark triangle on it's abdomen by the grove between the top two booklungs?
The waiting is the most anxious time for me. I'm always so worried about them in transit regardless to how good the packing is I'm always paranoid. I feel your pain.
haha. Monopoly houses are the best. But I can't take credit for originally having the idea. I read it in a very very old aracnoboards post. I don't recall where but I know I can't take credit XD
But the water dish itself has moisture still in it and is damp....So it being to damp doesn't seem logical I would think it'd be on the sides of the enclosure not the water dish if to damp was the issue for it. Usually when we have Avic's and you see them hovering over the water dish everyone...
I did the 50/50 mix of eco earth and top soil myself. gives variety in the substrate and the variety in the top soil I feel they actually have a better time with burrowing as well. As long as your substrate isn't sopping wet but just a little damp i don't see it being a huge issue, slings need...
Having micro organisms is going to happen regardless. It's being able to identify and know what they are and know if they are harmful or not that is the important aspect here. If you are unable to identify what it is, then you can't know if it is something to be ok with or not ok with, which...
While I have it scheduled to do the enclosures at 6pm MST so people can see me put them together and how I go about that. I'm currently drilling boxes again for anyone interested.
Yeah. I had carpenter ants and they just laughed at me I think. XD I know it worked for my aunt against the red and black ones which is where I heard about it. But the bigger species I think they could care less.
