I used the Tarantulas app for a long time but didn't like how I couldn't compare in one viewing pane. Switched to an Excel sheet and it's great! Usually I update it once a month within anything big going on in the collection...molts, rehouses, fasting, newbies...

Thanks everyone! Will take the blue lighting into consideration. Most of mine really don't seem to do much when the lights are flipped on so I think they should react OK. I'll let you know what the outcome is!

We feed our cat 1/4 cup three times a day. A small bit more than recommended but he seems happy and is still slim. And constantly bouncing around, so no wonder he burns it all off. We use Hills Science Diet and that is the recommended amount... would depend on what you use I imagine. Ours was...

I use something similar with a very flush top lid - only since they are arboreal, I use minimal substrate on the thin lid as a bottom and hot glue the decor to the top (actually I hot glue magnets to decor and use magnets on the exterior to hold them up) :P

Oh how cute! I have always wanted to foster a baby squirrel...but you know here in the South I know a few people who have and they've all ended in unfortunate endings with family pets or injuries. Glad yours are doing well!

I am currently in the same situation...growing Juvies and looking at a full size situation for the future. I really like THESE Container Store shoe boxes that already come with a few ventilation holes and snap on lids! I can imagine easily putting together a wooden frame to fit them...
