Honestly still the same. He gets around but a couple of his legs are still curled. He still refuses to eat or drink water. He molted a couple weeks ago so I don't believe it is pre molt.
For the past couple days I have noticed my GBB moving rather slow with his legs curled in. He kicked hairs at any food that would come near him. He has a full water dish and I have even put some droplets on his web in case he is dehydrating. Nothing has worked. Seriously afraid he might be...
Thank you for the tip. Will definitely do that when he finishes eating. I got some stems from the fake plants sitting around. Also thanks for letting me know about the clutter. I tried adding anchor points but didn't really know how to properly set them up. I appreciate all of your advice as...
I over estimated on the size of the enclosure and I notice it's quite large for a 2 inch T. I can send a photo if you like as I don't know exact dimensions.
I agree, I'm looking into getting some smaller food for him. That was the smallest one I could find but the next feeding will be smaller prey more his size.
Recently obtained a 2 inch gbb juvie. I know with adult Ts it's good to wait about a week before feeding them, for a T this size is that still a good rule of thumb or should it be fed sooner? I also will be transferring to a new enclosure within the next couple days as the current one is a bit...
Getting them now. Sorry I forgot to do that
She has two empty dishes because she stole one buried it so I gave her a new one. She then recently webbed the old one onto the side of her hide. It is also wet in there because someone suggested to me to try dampening the sub so I tried it about an...
Hey guys! I've had my a.seemani for a few months now. In my care she used a hide I provided her for two weeks and the proceeded to cover it up. She never burrows either. She usually spends her days just moving her sub/ water dish around and digging. I had heard from most keepers that their's...
She's actually been in this one since I got her back in 2017 (I believe). I think when I move her enclosure to do maintenance she always wants to climb out so that may be when I catch her climbing upside down. Will try moistening though! Thank you! :)
These photos were taken right as I was giving it water. I had noticed the dish ran dry when she attempted to climb upside down. Sorry about that folks!
Tarantula (euthalus sp. Red) keeps climbing upside down on her enclosure. I am very worried she will seriously injure herself. Anything I can do to prevent it? Here are some pics of the enclosure.
