Yeah, I made all of them and I would love to be able to sell them but I'm still not satisfied with their performance. Latest design got 3d printed parts and it's close to be the real deal but I have trouble connecting plastic parts with glass. I can glue them but the bond is not good enough on a...
I know that to us this is something shocking but 95% of people don't see anything wrong with this, a lot of people don't even think spiders are animals. Lack of general knowledge is the main problem here. The girl in the video isn't an idiot for doing something like this because great majority...
@Killertut True, but this video contains the most basic information on each subject, could easily make 10-15 video talking about each individual subject in greater detail. This video should be like a starting point.
Anyhow, the point of this thread is to see if anyone got something important to...
@Paul1126 Well I'm pretty sure you collectively spent way more time to get all the information presented in that one video, regardless of what your sources are.
I'm not saying that this is only way to get the information. This is just one option out of many.
I'm saying that if someone with 0...
People with that mindset shouldn't get any sort of pet anyway. In that 40 minutes you learn all you need to know to own beginner tarantula. You can't do "quicker" research lol.
@Killertut I was thinking about splitting it but I really wanted to do everything in one place. I think that any...
In December I made a long video that covers all the information about tarantula care that beginner should know about before hopping into the hobby.
The idea is to have all the basic information in one spot, so someone with zero knowledge could, after watching the video, get the basic idea of...
@VanessaS Still that list would only include legal imports, I'm pretty sure there were illegal ones through years, not to mention trades between other countries, not just the species origin ones. But since they were importing them from both countries for years without making any distinctions...
@cold blood But Honduras is on the other side of Nicaragua, so if a river is dividing Nicaragua and Costa Rica, they definitely can't reach Honduras. Although the river is not completely dividing countries, only the middle.
People actually have specimens collected from Costa Rica? Didn't know...
It could easily be same species in all three countries, holotype was collected close to the boarder with Nicaragua, and Honduras is like only 400ish km away. But still, if there are some actual differences between them, Nicaragua would be more likely the "true" form, or species.
We need some...
Since there's actually a discussion here I have one other thing that makes me question some things. We are talking about B. albopilosum-s from Nicaragua and Honduras, while from my knowledge original B. albopilosum specimen was collected in Costa Rica.
People mention that Nicaragua form might...
@Drea
Well thank you, it is a refreshing to hear an apology. I totally respect when someone questions my actions, but your deliver kinda set the wrong tone. I guess you can understand why it rubbed me the way it did, in this era of internet anonymity people are so quick to judge and bash on...
tHe dARk DEn pUlLed mOlT...
If you only wanted to find out if this was an ok thing to do you didn't really had to use my name in the title.
You have only witness tarantula molting 4 times but you still needed to point out how my action made you sick to your stomach. Despite having no...
