Hello,
I have some Anthia sexmaculata at the moment and I had Anthia cinctipennis in the past.
For the enclosure it's best to give them as big as you can because they really do use all of it. It's great to see them running around chasing prey.
I keep mine on sand mixed whit a little bit of...

After more than 1.5 year she finaly molted. She's now about 2.5 cm. I can't believe how slow they grow. The eggsac hatched at the end of 2015. I hope they next molt doesn't take as long.
Hey everyone.
It's been a long time since i posted something but i just wanted to share my new additions. I ordered them online.
C.versicolor
P. Regalis.
P. Irminia.
You can't really see her but she's missing 1leg. She molted during shipping and the leg was not ok. She's doing wel...
Thanks,
yeah that was the substrate they were in at the pet store. I've put them in a substrate like you described in your caresheet.
I knew patience was going to be the answer on the egg... To bad i don't have any :D
Hey everyone,
One of the eggs hatched.
Does anybody have any idea how to care for it?
I've put it in a large cup with a deep layer of sand.
i'm planning on giving it some crickets tomorrow.
While changing the substrate i found these.
There's 2 of them. They're the size of a tictac.
If you hold a flashlight behind them you can see the larvae.
You can see it a little bit on the second photo but since it was taken with my phone it's not so clear.
I'm so happy!!! :D
A little upddate on my ground beetles.
They're all still doing very well. They always have acces to water and as you can see they use do use it. ( a lot actually )
I tried uploading a video of one of them digging a tunnel but it wouldn't work. I'll try and post it later.
Still no sign of eggs...
Usually when i have scorplings or spiderlings, i take them to the local pet shop. Last time i got a few millipedes and some crickets for them. The time before that a terrarium. I wouldn't know what else to do with them. They breed so often that i can't keep them all. :)
yeah, they've got a lot of hides. Apparently i wasn't fast enough with removing the scorplings... i checked on them yesterday and there were only 5 left. so i've separated the mother with the remaining scorplings from the rest. Hopefully they won't be eaten.
I don't think there's gonna be problems. They've been together for about 2 years now and i haven't seen any aggression towards each other. There are 2 males and at least 1 female in the tank. There's also the one who had a bad molt but i haven't been able to sex that one.
I've got 6 of them in there. 3 males and 3 females. I haven't had any problems but i do feed them alot. All the scorplings are removed and separated as soon as they leave the mothers' back.
I was checking on my B. jacksoni communal setup yesterday and found one of my females like this. :)
Here's a pic of the rest of the group.
As you can see she wasn't the only gravid one.
Greeting
Mattias
