Don't know why I didn't notice the "mustach":confused: The reason I said it looks like O. aureotibialis was because of the orange hairs on the legs.

All specimens I have seen for sale under this name have been Haplopelma species. If I remember correct I did get both H. longipes and H. minax(Vietnam) under this name.

Just mated 2 "normal" females myself, both of them around 6 inches. And I know people have used even smaller females than this for breeding. Just a little surprised that the "lowland" form have to get so much bigger before they are mature. Also have 2 "lowland" females, but they are only around...
I know the "lowland" form is supposed to grow larger than the "normal" subfusca's, but at 6 inches I think they should be sexually mature. I would at least try one of them with the male and see how she responds to him.

P. pococki is a synonym of P. smithi, from the information I have. Don't know why it is still listed in The World Spider Catalog as a seperate species.
Exotics as in reptiles and amphibians is illegal to keep here in Norway, but no restrictions in "bugs". Need an import license if you are bying abroad, but not much problem to get.

Did you get this spider as WC from Thailand? I have 2 specimens of something that migth be the same species. One have recently molted and I will send the exuvium to Søren and hope he can ID this species.
Not the real H. costale(now moved to Ornithoctonus, O. costalis), but is one of three species sold under that name here in Europe. This species is from Vietnam, O. costalis from Thailand. Pretty rare species, so take good care of her. Good luck with the sac.
Haploclastus kayi is not arboreal from the information I have, and will most likely be moved to Thrigmopoeus. Haploclastus nilgirinus is like already mentioned arboreal and from India. From the picture I've seen of an adult female they are more brownish than black, and don't have any bands on...
