Oh my gosh! My male Grammostola pulchra just stridulated at me! I had cage door open and was taking a picture when this really weird loud sound like a bird chirping quickly came at me! Freaked me out! I wish I had my video on so I could have picked up the sound. That was incredible.

Thank you for the information. I've only had it for a month, but it has never covered it's burrow before, but it seemed like a natural response. It is very timid and shy but the last few days it's been tunneling like crazy.

Where do you get barklice or dermestid beetles?
Where can I get some of those "cleanup" buggers. My sling's bolus is always under the bark cave and I can't get to it without disturbing his webbing.
Or any other thoughts on cleaning?
