    You have to also consider the warning agent being used. Chloropicrin is heavier than Vikane and clears much slower than the Vikane does. Because of this I would be reluctant to bring your critters back in less than a weeks time.

    Sphinx moth of some sort, they are typically found underground so if this was above ground, attached to a plant something is amiss.

    Almost certainly a pompilid of some sort. Images are not near good enough to get beyond that.

    Not sure what was going on with the first answer. But anyway the image is not clear enough to tell for sure what it is. Although it may be an egg, my first thought was a parasite of some sort.
