    why dont you buy some eco earth coconut fibre substrate you can get it off the internet from like exo terra and i think t-rex do there own version its cheap and works very well just dont use the whole block as it realy expands and you end up with loads too much substrate:)

    i use for my substrate eco earth which is coconut fibres with vermiculite and calci sand mixed in and that works quite well

    i agree change the substrate i have my b. smithi on a mixture of eco earth vermiculite and calci sand which is an ediball sand that help bone growth (not that he eats it enyway:D ) and it seems quite a good mixture he bulldoses it arround and i got it all from a local garden centre/pet shop

    all the cricket remains i find are only really from the large black crickets where ill find a small black ball but from the lighter silent crickets you can get my T's seem to eat every last bit so maybe they only leave parts of certain crickets or it could just be a hunger thing?

    i was using locusts on my G. rosea but the guy in the shop said they did not have the nutrients that crickets have got so he said to stick with crickets

    switching A. versicolor cage

    why not put it into a jam jar there quite tall for a T of that size so it could climb being aboreal and because you only pierce small air holes in the lid it cant escape i have a B. Smithi sling in a jam jar and its fine in there + no escapes;)

    same here i bought mine as my fourth T it is a juvinille and has given me no problems so far but the problem you might have is i never get to really see mine move he is constantly hidden in his web structre and i swear he knows when im watching him as i never get to see him hunt because ill wait...
