Outdoor to Indoor AZ bark scorp transition

I had 6 of these guys in a rather large plastic keeper, 3 of mine gave birth within the last week while I was out of town. I moved everyone into a 40BR i had laying around yesterday and loaded it with vertical bark and as of this morning everyone looks cozy and I'm looking forward to a colony...

    Blue death feigning beetles....

I keep 2 of them in a 20L with my Desert Hairy and they do very well together going on 3 months now, But that was the only species I heard anyone mixing them with.

    Desert Hairy / Beetle Setup

Yeah the only reason I kept them together was because several breeders at reptile shows have told me they kept them together with no issue, Have never seen aggression from anything. The beetles don't even play dead near the scorpion but they do if I put my hand in the tank.

    Desert Hairy / Beetle Setup

For anyone that keeps their Desert Hairy with Death Feigning Beetles, does anyone see interaction between them? Every night when my lights go out the scorp comes out from under his rock and stands on top of it and waits -- the 2 blue beetles come out and stand directly behind him and then they...

    Heating

Mine isn't hooked to anything, That's why I used a seedling mat instead of a reptile heater because it seems to not get as hot and the fact that the cabinet is contained raises the temp of everything anyways. I put my desert stuff on the bottom right on top of the mat and stack things on top of...

    Heating

This is what the cabinet looked like and how it opens (I only have 2 sections) These are various stages of using it, the last picture was just a few days ago.

I keep all of my species in an old military cabinet I found, I wired an LED light into it and put a seedling heater at the bottom and its perfect. Ill try to upload some pics real quick.

    Zebra pillbug ready-made display enclosure?

I would ask someone more knowledgeable, I only keep 5 species and keep them all in air tight containers, most of them I keep misted and very humid but I was told the zebras don't like that so I don't mist them to the point of it being "wet" and I open it to air it out daily.

    Zebra pillbug ready-made display enclosure?

Those acrylic containers I have bought from reptile shows /expos for just a few dollars each and I wish I would've bought their entire stock because now I'm splitting up my iso's , I would say go to hobby stores or grocery stores and just use the clear glass terrariums people use for succulents...

Need help! Not growing have bumps

Personally it looks like sand stuck to them while they were wet and then it dried to their exo, I'm sure if OP saw these spots moving he would immediately assume mites and ask the question differently, the way its sticking and clumping to the glass/plastic very much looks like sand to me also...

    What if.....?

Yes indeed, As an avid Ark : Survival Evolved player I have tamed and kept many pulmonoscorps and even in a video game they are so interesting but also still creepy edit: Not sure if many people in this hobby are also gamers so that reference may be useless, Give Ark Pulmonoscorp a google if...

    What if.....?

I can't help but think of Starship Troopers and Jurassic Park while reading this, Not sure if these creatures would be killed off or if countries would attempt to domesticate them for their militaries. Seeing a Scorpion any larger than the size of a shoe would 50% excite me and 50% scare the...

    Scorpion breeders

Its hard for me to tell what is "common" besides the forest species because I see some stuff on here that I've never seen before that people seem to be able to get easily. I have 7 species that I've got from distributors (I work in pet retail) and from random local reptile shows and I have no...

How to preserve liquid scorpion venom for long period of time

This thread is all sorts of weird, Why is anyone entertaining this guy when he has given no information and replies with 1-5 word responses that don't even fit the context of the discussion.

Keeping multiple Asian forest scorpions in one tank

I kept 7 together for over a year in a 20L, they would eat peacefully and I would even give them a mouse and the largest one would rip off parts and hand them out to the others and it was great, I got a 40B and figured it would be better for them with more room, once I reset the enclosure and...

    My scorpions

Awesome thanks! I'm wondering if we have the same species, Mine was just labeled as "burrowing scorpion" I did some googling and I have mine labeled as a Wahlbergii but i'm really not sure, do you think you or someone here could tell from some pictures?

    My scorpions

Thanks! Ill buy some excavator and mix it into the existing dirt and just stop misting it. Mine rarely ever comes out from deep in the sub but i go over all my scorps with a quick blacklight every night just to see them all come out and i've seen him 3 times in a couple months that way.

    My scorpions

I have one of these guys and I heard this the other day when I was trying to find him and it made me jump, Had no clue they did that. I have heard this species needs to be dry and I have also read they need to be humid -- can you help me? Mine is currently in 5 inches of coco/ecoearth that i...

    Question about Habba Hut

ZooMed's HabbaHuts are made from Fir, and from what I've read the sap is mainly water and sugar and minerals and its main function is to get those things to other parts of the tree, I would say its totally fine but if you see the scorp start to eat or pick at it then move them away or just...

    Breeding Question

Hello! I'm sort of new to the hobby and new to the forums aside from occasionally lurking. Does anyone have a recommendation of an easy species to breed, just for the fun of raising some young? I currently have 1 H. Longimanus 1 O. Wahlbergii 1 M. Martensii 1 V. Confusus 2 Baby H. Troglodytes...
