I've tried the search function for arachnoboards but not much information shows up. Ditto for when I tried looking for poecilotheria miranda. Was thinking of getting an Orange baboon tarantula female or a Brachypelma emilia slings (and seeing if one of those turn out to be female).
Hello, I am curious how the care is for Ornithoctoninae sp. ho chi minh. I do like the species. I am not sure of the cost or care; I do want to get a juvenile female. Would that tarantula do well in a 16 quart gasket tub? I am also curious about poecilotheria miranda and if they can be housed in...
I would recommend giving it a lot more light using a good growlight or putting it in sunlight. And use distilled water or RO water (I assume you know that but just putting it out there) to water the plant.
Right now I have a young adult (fully terrestrial) that is 6 inches long (or 15 cm). How long do you think before it gets to 8-10 inches? I really like these guys, good eaters and easy pets.
I do prefer females since they live longer imo. Males are okay but right now I don't plan on breeding tarantulas. Although one day I do want to try breeding.
I will look into getting a Brachypelma emilia. I don't mind raising slings, the only problem is that I don't really want to end up with a male. How many slings do you think I should purchase for a chance of a female emilia?
Looks like I am going to get either a brachypelma emilia or another hamorii. Do you think I should get slings or just get a female? I don't mind slings and waiting although I do want to see if I can get a female.
I do have an IRIS 16 quart gasket tote. Do you think that can work if I modify it (add holes, etc)? The dimensions are 17.43 in. L x 11.81 in. W x 6.69 in H. Right now it is a juvenile.
