I go to the local feed mill - non medicated poultry grower feed is 0.25$/ lb, and 4 lbs lasts for months (yes, that is a dollar's worth). I have thousands of dubias - actually I cut back on their food to try to slow the reproduction rate down, as I only have 3 T's and I guess 30,000 dubias.

MM C.crawshayii I have an MM. Molted into MM about Thanksgiving, or just after. I got him as a 2.5 incher 2 years ago. I don't know exactly how big he is right now, but he's very leggy. And very lonely. Anyone who is within driving distance that wants him, he's available. (I don't pack).

I get them from Walmart, for $2.50 apiece, in the kitchen section.

My question is, if you get a better look by refrigerating and catching her, will it change anything you are going to do? If the results of the examination will not affect how you are going to manage her, then I would not stress her further. Just me.....
