    My Scolopendra longipes enclosure has a little bit of sand in it and i was wondering if the sand would be harmful to the pede. its not really on the surface so I dont think it would end up eating any.

    I take soil from outside for my millies a lot. I always bake it first and would defiantly recommend doing that. But if possible i would just buy it online.

    Ive never ran into problems with keeping species together. I just give them crushed up dog food or fish flakes on occasion and they reproduce very well. I've got dozens of little white baby isopods in my current setup.
