Nice! I’m really hoping my big female came in gravid, I’d love some mint leg plings. She’s 8.5+ inches so I feel like the chances of her being gravid are pretty high. She is also a Northern Vietnam locale
mix it all together, probably a 1/3 ratio (excavator clay / sand). Wet it down, pack it down, don’t put the scorpion in until the top 1-2 inches is dry.
That looks like severe dehydration, you may be able to revive it by sticking its head in a water dish, if it moves away keep positioning its head into the water, if it’s not too late that should really help
Some new additions!
Scolopendra sp. “Malaysian Jewel” pling
Scolopendra sp. “Mint Legs” (Vietnam)
Scolopendra sp. “White Beard” (Vietnam)
Still need to take pics of this one with my camera, iphone photos really do not do it justice!

It’s honestly up to you. Whatever you do, do it responsibly! For what it’s worth, most polymorpha I have worked with are quite docile, they don’t really bite. Of course it’s possible, but from my experience they tolerate handling pretty well. It depends on the individual too. If you do happen to...
The confusion between the two stems from the fact that dehaani used to be classified as a sub-species of subspinipes, but now they are two different species altogether. No subspinipes looks like this, so it’s dehaani for sure.
Gotcha haha. As far as how much ventilation, It completely depends on the species & their care requirements. So of course more ventilation for species that need it dry, and less for species that need it humid. It also depends on where you live as well, I live somewhere with very “dry” air so I...
The enclosure definitely needs more ventilation, and i’m honestly surprised it didn’t escape through that small space in between the panels considering they’re great escape artists. Anyway, I’d like to add that crickets aren’t really a good diet, especially for a main food source, and especially...
I just used a Canon Rebel T6 with the stock 18-55mm lens it came with. I definitely plan to invest in some better lenses in the future, but for now this one gets the job done!
