How long does it take for a Chaco golden knee to become an adult?

Sorry, Swift's. Kelly's great. Even sent me a free Giant White Knee and pinheads just in case. I'm busy this eve trying desperately to sex my year old OBT since I rarely get an undercarriage shot, if you will, and I'm not about to handle her/him to take any closer looks. lol. Any guesses?

    dead or molting?

This is the tank she lives in. I am aware of their escape artist abilities and have two mesh screen tops on it with clamps and have made sure all corners and substrate is kept low enough to prevent a hoist up and over.

    dead or molting?

Thank you so much, to Basin and Erin. I'm relieved to know the length of the process, most of my searching led to only the actual molt time, I could find little about how long they go down aside from "my pede slowed down around two weeks before it molted". I have a large tank for her with plenty...

    dead or molting?

Thank you so much for getting back to me. Really, my question is, will it give off the customary "rotting flesh" smell if it has died? I don't want to unearth it or disrupt it if she is molting or even worse, preggos, lord I hope not. I got it from Ken the Bug Guy, but don't know if it was WC or...

    dead or molting?

Hello. I have a Vietnamese Centipede that I have not seen for about three weeks. I spotted Sayuri once going back down her cork hide to her burrow once about three weeks ago and not since then. I put crickets in during this time and they disappeared so I assumed she ate. Spotted one roaming...

Centipede Enclosure: Escape resistant or escape proof?

I bow in appreciation to your recognition of my caution, however, it is because of these boards and the members, such as yourself, who have guided me in my development as a hobbyist. When I first began way back when the mere site of the common Chilean Rose had me feeling like the world's...

Centipede Enclosure: Escape resistant or escape proof?

Im settling in to almost comfortable with it. I don't have children about, other than my clients (social worker for homeless teens and sometimes I work out of the house) who rarely come and only to pick up a file perhaps and won't go where the tank will be anyway, pets that won't be interested...

Safe from escape? Folks have me freaked a little now

but, they CAN and WILL, climb the silicone (rubber sealant) um how to say in Italian wait one sec .. oh lol it's still "silicone" lol. Sigh. I know Im going to hire a pro to come in. this is NOT a creature to be taken lightly or underestimated, pet hole or no. If you've lived my life, you'd know...

Centipede Enclosure: Escape resistant or escape proof?

Thank you. There is a shallow stone water dish in the right back corner with a stone in the center to keep crickets from drowning. Come to find out they breathe through their feet, or something like that I over heard once, which is why they drown in even the littlest amount of water. Anyway, on...

Centipede Enclosure: Escape resistant or escape proof?

Thank you. I am still trying to get used to these types of forums and apologize for hacking conversations etc. I like the idea that others can share, too :) I have taken your advice to heart and did try peeling/scraping off the sealant, not too successful for the moment. I am thinking of hiring...

Centipede Enclosure: Escape resistant or escape proof?

Thank you so so so much. I am attending to those possibilities this morning. The silicone ladder and screen.. Not sure this was a good tank for this idea.. I see folks keeping them in glass gallon jars, but that seems a little opressive for a pede this size.
