For what you wrote dry etc, that works for me with the species I owned.
I have never misted any species. This includes my irminia and AF H mac. It wasn't necessary.
Also, with that many Ts and so little experience- not the wisest approach to be honest. I wouldn't be surprised if some die.
Looking on-line is like having 500 chefs in the kitchen 😉 And some chefs have no or little experience. The info you found is case in point.

Highly agree. There are not many genera IMO where all the species stand out. This, Avic and Poki are definitely 3 favor the most, w/Brachy not far behind.

BTW I raised chameleons for many years, and as a hobby we were far ahead of the rest of the exotic owners in general when it came to knowing what feeders were...
