I like the carpet Selaginella species, or spike mosses, can make in moist tanks. That's also another low-lighter.

I've been growing some mistletoe cactus from seed for a few months now. They seem to grow ridiculously slow.
Eventually the galleries will get pretty large. I think I've got a few years before my plants are this size....

I'll second this. Selaginella erythropus is a pretty cool one.
In nature, I'm pretty sure it's selective. But in the confines of a terrarium, I'm sure it's possible to force some species to inhabit them....
