We were working on our house and unearthed a wild T's den. It appeared female, but I can't say for sure. She was about 3 1/2 inches long maybe 4. We find anywhere from 4-5 of them a year. I let her go in the corner of our property that we have designated as "where the wild things are." Very Pretty!
My Instagram feed has been chocked full of people coming across wild Aphonopelma. People have generally been very kind to them - going out of their way to get them off the roads and on their way. Even people who have been fearful of them. It's been nice to see that.
This is a lovely little tyke. <3
