Well, I can say I've held an OBT now. x)

10 of these little guys arrived today, courtesy of Thistles. All were fine. Could not be happier, especially with the added surprise!
Please take caution with any African. Even if sling. If you wish to do so I dont fight. But be prepared, African arr on par with southeast :vamp:

@KezyGLA Oh I'm aware. I knew I was taking a risk, even with how small they are. I've read plenty of stories of people getting tagged by obt slings. :dead:
It was the last one I unpacked and I just couldn't help myself, lol.
Now I just have to stop myself from trying to handle the balfouri... :angelic:

I am lucky to have not been bitten. I am over cautious mostly. However my brother in September alone he get 2 wet bites one P. met and other MM balfouri. He needs to slow down when doing the maintenance

@KezyGLA While I'm certainly in no hurry to be bitten, I'm almost curious at this point as to what it does feel like to be bitten by one of these top ranked species. Obviously a quick glance in the bite reports makes me a lot less curious, but its still there. I guess its just human nature to wonder "is it really as bad as they say it is..?" That being said, I'm extremely cautious when working with any of my "hot" specimens. Except for that one little obt when I got ballsy.. :angelic: My curiosity may have been showing a bit as well..

Edit: I probably should've been tagged by my P. irminia sling as well when I got it. :D Had to hold that cute little thing as well. Sure wouldn't try it now that she's a bit bigger and a lot more settled in though.
