Any thoughts about this 1" spiderling? Thanks!
There's really no telling with slings. We can make educated guesses on juvies and adults, but honestly, you'll never get a real answer. If you don't know the species, try to at least narrow down the genus. If you own this spider, then you should know that it should never be bred. No matter how "sure" you are of the species. Many species look darn near identica.
 
Come back when it's two inches. A lot of things start getting adult colors then and we could make more reasonable guesses.
 
I'll bet this critter will have dark legs as an adult with a blueish-green femur coloration. It came in a shipment sold as "Theraphosa stirmi". NOT! :)
 
Interesting... These guys are more "leggy" with slender, long legs and without a "mirror patch" on their abdomens. I'm going to feed them well to induce some molts quickly and get up some new pics post molt.
