Sling Sold As Brachypelma albopilosum

I got this sling last year in late October/ early November. It's my 1st ever sling and I was told it's a B.albopilosum. I got it as a 1/2" sling and its about 2" now. I read that b.albos are very slow growers and it grown to this size in about 7 months. Any info would be great.
B. albos are the fastest growing Brachys, together with B. vagans. Nothing wrong with your albos growth rate.

B. Albopilosum has a medium growth rate, I would assume that this would, though, be a male, and this is why: Males only tend to live 4-5 years so I would assume that in order to receive their full growth potential in that short amount of time it would tend to be a fairly quick growth spurt. (Keep in mind I am fairly new to the hobby, so take everything with a grain of salt.)
