Scolopendra hardwickei

Perhaps 11cm, still a juvenile with bright colours.
Yeah, they're not most people's favourite animal, but the hardwickei always gets them :D
 
Is it me or is the head very large compared to the body? Is this related to the fact hardwickei seem to have the most painful venom in the hobby?

Great 'pede! You own two holy grails of centipedes, Mints and hardwickei! Only a matter of time before the Malaysian Jewel and the Philippine Queen are yours.
 
@LawnShrimp I think the head looks particularly large here partly because of the angle, and because it is chomping on a cricket. Some centipedes do appear to have wider heads & forcipules but there is no correlation between that and venom potency. Look at your mint leg, it's not particularly wide yet I bet those pack a punch compared to polymorpha which seems a bit wider.
