I would get rid of the mesh ceiling or at least find some thin sheets of plastic and use it to cover the mesh and cut a hole for ventilation. It's definitely dangerous for your pulchripes to be climbing on the ceiling like that
Just take some packing tape, and run a strip all the way around the inside edge of the mesh. T's can't grip the tape, so it keeps them from getting onto the screen. I think @KezyGLA uses that method on a lot of his lids.
@Ghost56 that's great, i wonder if duct tape would also work (guessing not...too much friction on the surface for legs to grip)? I have duct tape, but i'll run downstairs and try to find packing tape
@Ghost56 I put the PACKING tape around the perimeter... thanks this was a breakthrough. Now i feel like I can breathe. What an ordeal. The people who 'helped' me before I got to this point *not on this site* didn't know what they were talking about and didn't mention ANY of this stuff
@Ghost56 wait @KezyGLA knew about this and kept it from us? COME ONE MAN WE WOULD NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT OBT REHOUSINGS AGAIN IF WE KNEW WE COULD STOP THEM FROM CLIMBING OUT OF THE BOX WITH THAT STUFF
Dudes, the packaging tape perimeter is working amazingly. Cameron's little legs are not gaining any traction whatsoever as he/she futilely tries to climb up to the top.
