Pterinochilus murinus TETE

Adult female
Beautiful.....murinus?? Never seen one that color...maybe because all mine were RCF but I thought RCF was the "normal" murinus? She's beautiful.

@Casey K there are so many color variants from different localities. The first murinus in the hobby was the Botswana DCF. The typical (classic) form is golden/tan.

This gal here is the BCF from Tete national park Mozambique. (Chocolate OBT)

OCF and RCF are mix of Usambara locality and the TCF (typical)

.. And this is why it is extremely important for people who breed murinus to make sure they are doing so with 2 specimens of same locality, then label the spiderlin s for sale with that locality.

@nugget I reckon I will soon make a theead about the localities and variants of Pterinochilus murinus.

I keep all but a couple of localities of this species, so once I have adults of every locality/form I will share with more detail

The Swiss forum has a dark grey/light grey murinus without any gold labelled as DCF. And what is that?? Nothing is as confusing as murinus color forms/localities.
