My first A. Geniculata arrived a week ago and I let her settle in for awhile because she seemed quite stressed. Now I tried to feed her and no response, she just covered her smol face. She had a bald spot on her rump when she got here. Now it has gotten bigger and I think it has darkened a little.
Yes it's in pre-molt. Typically with a bald-spot on the abdomen it will be a lighter 'tan' color, but the abdomen on this spider is 'graying' out and will get darker over the next few days, and will molt soon thereafter.
