I've been reading up on the phenomenon of blue theraposidae and it makes sense since these are not pigments but nanostructures that reflect light.
Yep, Shine a light on it, you'll see the difference. Any heavy lighting will make'em shine. They are a dull dark blue in room lighting until you hit'em with the flash light.
