It's official - I can't leave a reptile show without taking home another T. XD I said to myself I would walk away empty-handed unless I happened to see an A. geniculata, and there she was right near the entrance. (_ _)
@efmp1987 Haha, no thanks, I'll keep her. If you buy from reptile dealers who aren't T breeders and don't usually sell them, you can sometimes get a good deal, lol. Last time, I found a female Euathlus sp. yellow for about 1/3 of the price I would have expected.
@efmp1987 I rarely see adults for sale online, but the last one I saw went for over $200. I paid $65 for mine - the seller wasn't even sure of the scientific name of her species. The downside to their lack of knowledge is that you often can't be sure if you're getting a male or female, but I did confirm the sp. yellow as female by molt.
I didn't realize they were that expensive, I thought they would be cheap because of their popularity. I guess Poecilotheria should have made me realize that, lol.
