Oh god, it took half the night just to get condiment cups set up and getting them apart...and that was just 50....just filled another 50 cups and will be dropping spiders in later tonight....then out to find more condiment cups.
@cold blood Christ i know exactly what you mean. It takes forever, not to mention the feedings with those small buggers.
I have at this moment H.villosella just hatched into 1st molt. But there`s not that many as you have, but they are so small, smaller than ants. And fast. Lol I have to separate them soon.
ugh! 350 counted so far....there are still so many....the last ones finished molting, too...so I need to get this completed by the weekend or I am gonna have cannibals on my hands.
@cold blood Have you started feeding yet? How do you do that? Feeding and watering 350 babies going on 1000 plus your other spiders? If you only need one minute per baby that would be 6 hours... for 700 it would be nearly 12 hours :wideyed:. I've always wondered how people manage.
@boina I've always thought the exact same thing - but in the end it really is worth all the trouble, imagine the feeling, proud satisfaction - when their all sold of course - lol
I have not started feeding yet...IME 2i need to wait longer than they will after their subsequent molts...I plan to start feeding the first molters tomorrow. When i do, I will feed in groups of 75-100 a day...dicing up dubia roaches will be the first step....and the most time consuming.
