Lunch time!
This little one munching a mealworm on top of mini water dish, previously full with substrate and then emptied by the same small spood. (G. pulchripes)
My B. emilia is just chillin' in the moss, and my G. pulchripes is just showing the tiny booty. Slings are cool, haha
 
@Androxian I totally agree! I think big tarantulas are amazing and stuff but there's something very cool in those small slings.
 
I think it's the combination of watching them grow as well as develop their personalities that makes it so special to raise your own. You get that emotional connection because it's something you did, you got the tarantula to adulthood.
 
True. I also like how sometimes they can act scared of a feeder moving around only to notice it's food. This little one became a ball of fluff at first when it noticed that mealworm. It was so cute
