Can anyone identify this jumping spider? Sorry not the best photo. Never seen a jumping spider with a red abdomen before so would be cool to know what kind it is
I saw him on my hike the other day. He was trying to catch ants. Good thing for him I didn't have any catch containers with me or he would be here in my home lol
@Anoplogaster - When I was a wee little kid, there was this huge tree that was covered in jumping spiders. It was the best and strangest sight. There were jumpers with red abdomens, and some with blue abdomens. The blue ones were always my favorite.
Little Casey learned, in the saddest way possible, what happens when you house two spiders together. :< I had a blue jumper that I loved, and added in a Red friend. Red murdered Blue, and it still upsets me to this day.
This was in Castle Rock, Colorado. I have tried, with no success, to identify what jumper has a blue abdomen. No freaking clue.
