Molted today in normal position but never recovered..I turned her and saw this still alive anything I can do??
Substrate is waaaaay to moist. This is how I killed my T.stirmi sling years ago. I think there is tear on the abdomen but, I am not sure. Flour may help with that.

@REEFSPIDER I was in the hospital the previous days so I didn't notice any signs of molting...So I didn't raise the humidity above normal...It had the humidity it should..

Your picture looks wet.
All slings need a bit of moisture but too much is also bad. This leads to what is called a 'wet molt'
Thats what it looks like happened to your sling. The other one being fine is good. It doesnt mean it is in the perfect environment just because it molted properly. You just got lucky with that one. Or unlucky with this one

This doesnt look good @Dora :(

it doesnt seem to be leaking though. I doubt there is much you can do now. I have heard of people using vaseline or flour for tears but I fear if you touch this area it may do more harm than good.

I have a pulchripes that the carapace somehow split but I didnt touch ut and it has hardened and is now ok.

I hope someone can suggest some good info here. This would be a very sad loss :(

@KezyGLA yes I know but as I said above this didn't happened because of humidity because I placed the water after I took the picture..The substrate is just dump as I keep them! Now just waiting...

The circle patch would suggest that maybe there was a piece of old exo stuck to that area and has taken some of the new exo off with it
