Lasidora parayhbana or grammostola pulchripes?
I see the lasidora looks just like the golden knee in pics but some lasidoras look more black sometimes. Help.
Thanks satch, although you can see from my bad iPad pic..lol, the abdomen hairs are a light hint of red just like the lasidora. Makes me wonder. Under side is black and red around the fangs.

deff not pulchripes unless the redish tinge on the abdomen is my eyes playing tricks on me

The slight red hairs really show after a molt but the golden knee coloring doesn't seem really bright and (golden) color even after molts, compared to pics on google images. Also she is very docile. Never tried to strike or make a threat pose. She has kicked hairs maybe 4 times just when she's scared. I have had this T sense it was half the size you see now.

Another good way to tell would be how long it has taken to grow. Grammostolas are quite slow growers whereas Lasiodoras are like weeds. I know my L.p(who is about 4+inches) will often tolerate handling but can be a bit hair kicky and temperamental at times

Also I can handle this T everyday (if I want) and doesn't seem to mind at all. I can just reach in and pick it up every time. Sometimes she will run away the. Calm down when she realizes there is no threat. Once my finger slowly touches her it's like she knows lol.
