@Thekla I believe you may be correct. The lighter color would definitely suggest it. The breeder may also have been mistaken, I've had this one from a sling. I did filter the photo to make the hairs pop a bit more, but that only accents whatever is already there. Honestly I did not know of the Nicaraguan form until you brought it up. Thank you !
How large is this specimen?? I'm having a hard time telling whether it is a Nicaraguan or Honduran. To me it looks like a fluffier Honduran and yes, it's possible for some Hondurans to be a bit hairier/fluffier than other Hondurans. There isn't enough information on this specimen to conclude if this Nicaraguan or Honduran. What's the size and sex???
