Eh I don't really think so but its not something any body should ever do. I have never been stung by a scorpion before but I respect the animal and go into holding her with the understanding that there is always a possibility. This particular species is fairly aggressive and can be fast on the ground... not so much on your hand though. I just very carefully scoop her into a deli cup from her enclosure and then hold it up to my hand and let her walk out on to my hand. Once she is on my hand she becomes so calm and climbs around as if I am no longer a threat. It is pretty amazing! I only do this when I am doing a full enclosure cleaning just because holding a scorpion too much can stress them out and cause negative results.
