IDK what it is but I'm nearly 100% sure it isn't pulchra. Looks like it could be G. porteri, but I don't say that with much certainty.

Not a porteri or ANY of the species known as rose hairs.


Wait for a molt for a better idea.

Whatever it is, I love the look of the carapace. Bet it'll be gorgeous once it molts and has it's butt hair back

Thinking B.albo hobby form, pics a little grainy though...hard to see detail.

@Nightstalker47 It is not a B. albo because B. albo hairs are gold when this tarantulas hairs are white.

Looks like a Grammostola Grossa.

@ArachnidSpecilist The hobby form albos all look different, bunch of mutts they are. Not grossa at all IMO, thats just the ligthing throwing you off...we'll see on the next molt though.

@Nightstalker47 If it was the lighting that was throwing me off, I would definitely say that it is a Brachypelma Albopilosum.
