Grammostola Pulchripes
@Tyler7131994 Getting males is part of the hobby :D One of my favorite, actually. When they mature, trade your male and get more spiders. Most males are worth a bit, just maybe not to you. I often get several slings for a trade, occasionally one or two juvies. Plenty of good people on this site, plenty of opportunity.

@EulersK didn't mean to sound like I didn't care about him. I Absolutely love him! Hes the first tarantula raised from a spiderling. Just saddens me to know so he won't be around too much longer. I wish males lived as long as females

I understand you so well, I have a G.porteri who was my first one, I'm still waiting for it to molt but crossing my fingers it'll be female so it'll live longer. It's amazing how fond you get of them! Sorry your turns out to be a male but like someone said, it's a part of it all, I hope you'll one day get a nice female T that will stay with you for years!

@CindyMoon that's what I can't wait for!!! As much as I absolutely love all my tarantulas male or female, I have yet to know if any of them are female. I have 6 tarantulas, 2 male and the other 4 are to small to tell still. Crossing my fingers for at least 1 female so it can be around for a while! But I understand that's how this hobby works :)
