I already have some opinions on this one. I was told today the flap means nothing by some so this is male and by others the flap means female even if spermathicae are not obvious.
@KezyGLA the molt measures about 2.25 inches DSL. This molt looks noticably different then my other grammostola species which are blatently male. I'm more confused since I thought the flap was sort of a giveaway but I'm now learning it's not that simple. So, male until proven otherwise may be a good way to look at it.
Yeah the 'flap' is in both male and female. Youd be better looking for little dark spots forming on that 'flap' this indicates spermathecae/utera developing.
