Fossorial Molts (>.<)

This is the first molt of my C. lividum suspect female.

I love everything else about them except that they make me wait until they build up 3 or 4 molts before expelling them.
With how close the entrance is to the top, I would hate to be the guy to go in and give it a roach... With how big that thing is, it would probably want a bigger meal (as in my arm :O)

Well it's burrow extends beyond the substrate with a web tube around the top right before the hatch up top. :eek:

So far it's been quite cordial with eating and retreating. Hope it stays that way.

You think so? It's about 6-7 inches of sub. It might be mature I guess IF it's female. :banghead:

I need to go see if I can find some tall "really useful boxes" that aren't as big as a 10 gallon.

I figured I'd wait until it matured before moving it into something I could put 8-10 inches of sub in.

At the size it's at, I think it would be mature either way. :D I just worry I will see a forum in a few months saying "Escaped Lividum, please help!". ;)

@bryverine At least that's better than an escape. Lucky you have such a stubborn spider :D Do you just throw crix in there, or feed it a roach with tongs? Love to know :)

@WeightedAbyss75
I leave some fat dubia with crushed heads at the top of the burrow or throw them on some of the web. It actually waits for food on the right side there half way up. I'll post a picture from the other side/top when I get back home.
