Did u need any special vendors licence or anything? I keep debating making a TON of various hides and setting up the next Atlanta show but have not had the opportunity to look into that aspect yet
@Abyss Nope, no license needed. Just the money to pay for the booth. I'd say go for it, I think you'd do pretty well. I saw too many people leaving with no enclosure. Just be sure to make various sizes and types. And I already own a bunch of her tarantulas! She didn't have anything I didn't already own
@EulersK haha nice, you may make good $ afterall!!!!!!!
Yea i dont mind not selling enclosures anymore. I enjoy making the hides far more and they are more detailed an creative i think. So far the plan is to test the waters if i can find time to get a bunch made but we shall see.
Best of luck the rest of the expo pal!!!!
@Abyss Oh, that was the whole expo. Only a single day thing.
You'd be selling hides? That's way better, I think those would sell very well. I mean, all exotic pets need a hide. You may want to split the cost with someone though, booths aren't cheap. Next time I do an expo, I'll reach out and see if you want to send me some hides to sell on the side.
@Trenor We had another called Las Vegas Reptile Expo that was great, but they've dropped off the map. I'm hoping that this one gets better for reptiles (and therefore tarantulas) as time goes on. We're considering going over to Pomona, CA for another show. The booths are expensive, but we should both have a much bigger selection of tarantulas to sell by August. So we'll see.
