@frodogecko oh no, lol yes, they are notorious for shipping the wrong spider. one of the worst invert dealers out there. be happy you got one from the same genus. check out reviews on dealers before buying from them. and generally avoid reptile dealers, stick to full time arachnid dealers.
I put him in the tall deli container because he's arboreal. I wanted him to have a lot of vertical room. I just recently got him and 2 other avics, my first arboreals ever. So, I have no experience with them. All my other T's are terrestrial. I'll put him back in a smaller deli container.
@frodogecko Like @Venom1080 said, yes a ton of people. Not only be glad you got an Avic. but also that it even arrived alive. That place is nothing but horror stories from everything I've read. I would attempt to contact them and see if they'll make it right, but I wouldn't bet on it at all.
@frodogecko Like was mentioned above, it's doable, but it really just complicates things being in that large of a container. What worries me, are those holes. If there's any that are bigger than the T's carapace (the part with the eyes attached to it), the T can escape.
