Ephebopus murinus.
I love this colour form.
I have read that this colour form is only found in Brazil, as opposed to the light carapace being found in Brazil, Suriname and French Guiana and that is why it is so rare to see.
Is that correct?

I keep coming back to this post. I cannot get enough of looking at this critter. Help! I want one...BAD.

I would eat my hat to assert to you that this is a male Lasiodorides striatus. The dark color of E. murinus is meant to have very little striping whatsoever on its knees and be almost uniformly dark, whereas this looks like an L. striatus — which is a rare and often misidentified species from the same regions.

If you still have this male, I would really try to ascertain its species because L. striatus males are in extreme short supply. (I imagine because they keep being confused for other species, like G. pulchripes and A. seemanni. And, evidently, E. murinus.)

Hahaha. Ok. Do you need some salt or any kind of temper? I believe hats arent that tasteful. Lol. In time, the one in the picture is a female. But you @ligersharks and @letranger can believe on whatever you want to. Hobby (and jealousy) is a mess, whatsoever. Hahahahahaha.

(Plain and simple. Letranger, 2019)
