Is yours generally grumpy?
Mine's a total sweetheart, she puts up with my nonsense to the highest degree.
She's the only T out of the two I have (the other being an A. seemanni) that I'll handle. She loves jackets, I'll fold one into a makeshift burrow on my bed and she'll march right to it every time.
@Androxian She is the grumpiest and angriest spider I've owned, and I currently own the orange bob too. At least that dude only runs away from me, I swear there was a personality mix up. Oof.
@MorrowHorror I've read of some of them having attitudes but man, that's so strange to me because mine is the complete opposite of that. She's the only T I've ever handled and even have just picked her up and put her in a bowl while I did enclosure maintenance and she didn't mind a bit. The only time I see her temper is when I use my teaser, but if you had a tiny little bread tie bumping your rear, you'd get a little annoyed after awhile as well. But other than that she's my 8 legged angel. My A. seemanni on the other hand, is the unpredictable one, not really temper wise per say, but rather in how fast she chooses to move. I've been watching them feed and sometimes I'll drop a cricket in, take a look at the other enclosure for 0.5s and boom, the seemanni is already across the cage on it.
@MorrowHorror Check out my latest post to see my B. albopilosum. Calm and Docile as always. Luckily she didn't feel the jacket, because when the jacket is detected, she goes into arboreal mode.
