Such a cool species, how old is yours? I raised one from a 1/4" from TarantulaCanada and I think s/he is around 3" legspan at 3 years? They seem to be a slow growing species?

@Ciri I got this one 3 days ago not 100% on age until I hear back from the source approx 2/3 month
It's at around 1" not had chance to measure it properly yet.
So far really happy with this spider everything I have read about them just made me want one more lol the only negative is like you mentioned it's a slow grower.
I know of some cases where growth is faster from power feeding and boosting the temp a tiny bit but that's something I wont do due to the complications that COULD arise from it I would rather play the long game it will get there eventually.

@NOOBUS SCORPUS 666 That's a great mentality to have. It sounds like for you watching them grow from a tiny nondescript sling into a beautiful specimen is where the joy is. I'm like that too, there's nothing more beautiful than waking up one day and seeing your juvenile turn into a full-blown sub-adult with all the colours having erupted!

@Ciri
I have not been in the hobby long but its probably one of the best things I decided to do I have had interest since I was a kid read the books, visited the habitats at zoos etc finally made the jump a couple of years back wish I started sooner to be honest lol.
