Aphonopelma Eutylenum (California Ebony)?

Aphonopelma Eutylenum (California Ebony)?

found outside in Southern California (Los Angeles) mountain region. currently in a 5 gallon critter keeper. about 3 1/2 inches big.
@Arthroverts I agree with A. steindachneri. The pictured tarantula appears to be a uniform black/ grey and very bulky. Both being characteristics of A. steindachneri as opposed to A. eutylenum.

@Arthroverts you are correct. steindachneri can be easily identified by its very short velverty hairs, much unlike eutylenum which have very long setae on the limbs. and of course, they usually have a solid chocolate-brown color.

occasionally steindachneri can be blonde, adding confusion- just remember the velvety integument and distinguishing the two is simple.
