Brachypelm auratum - ~1.25"
No personal experience with the species, but that looks female to me.

(on a side note, it is odd seeing a post from you where the sex isn’t already stated LOL. makes me wuestion if it is a straightforward as it appears...)

@Theneil Hahaha! Nope, I'm really undecided on this one, so I didn't even provide a guess. I did see the same thing in the last moult (except smaller). I have reviewed all the photos I could find, both times, and I am still not confident that what I am seeing is the beginnings of spermathecae. I also got a ventral shot today while they were on their back after moulting that I have also tried to compare to other photos. Maybe I should post that photo too.
I know that Brachypelma are often easier than most to sex at the smaller sizes, I correctly sexed my baumgarteni female at the same size, so I am wondering if this is female after all. I could find no evidence that they have obvious male accessory organs. I don't know if this could possibly be something else.

i understand the hesitation. i recently got a little pocket microscope and am now trying to sex the sub 2” molts as i get them and it is really helpful when i end up with at least 1.1 of a species because it removes the doubt and essentially makes up for my lack of experience.
