Picked up this juvenile at a show. Was the only one there of the species and not sexed. Was a hard choice since there were so many female A.Geniculatas for sale, but I prefer the colouring on this one. They haven’t molted yet so I’m just being hopeful
I’m also not sure what that big crease is on the underside of the abdomen. Maybe just the way the T is sitting? I haven’t seen it before that’s just why I’m asking.
Ventral looks female to me, but you'll want to sex the molt to make sure.
Ime a wrinkle in the underside of an abdomen usually means the T is dehydrated/needs water - I see it most often on recently molted Ts.
MATURE male tarantulas will generally have a leggier look to them when compared to mature females, but isn't an accurate way to sex specimens - mature or otherwise.
