Help! Is my spider injured?!
I am still new to caring for Ts. This is my still new B. hamorii. Notice right above the spinerets there is some sort of bump or discoloration. Can anyone explain what I am seeing here? Is she just losing some hair there? I have no clue and help would be very appreciated.
Was it there before you got it? if no then it looks like it's just a blad spot, with nothing to worry about ;). Many T.'s lose hairs at times either because of premolt or they just want to for whatever reasons. Here's a picture of my little guy with almost no hair on his abdomen for reference.

Some Ts when in premolt go around the enclosure kicking hairs. This provides a line of defense if a predator was to come sniffing when they are on their back molting they will get a nose full of hairs instead of lunch.
