The Aussie tiger beetle doesn't look quite that cool but a still awesome nonetheless, their grubs are often found in areas where lawn has died off in suburbs and they can burrow easily, but you almost never see that adult beetles

@Ztesch Thanks man! These guys are endemic to North America (commonly found in deciduous forests in-between Minnesota, Rhode Island, Ontario and south to Kentucky)
