U.Elongatus MM

If you're an Aussie scorpion keeper, it's just a given you have one of these
I like these guys, nice and big, they have such a good nature, breed well in captivity and can be handled just as easily as liocheles.
I recently had a female pull all the instars off her back and she chopped them all up about 3 weeks after giving birth, not sure why

@Rhino1 scorpions are weird. My U.Yaschenkoi spins in a circle for 10 minutes if it catches something, and it will only accept food once a month. I have what I suspect is a U.Excellens that was a side-catch on a pet Shop collecting trip, and I reckon it's gonna give birth soon. It's female, 146mm claws to stinger, hardly eats and is incredibly fat. I don't see how it can possibly be molting and get bigger than that

Yeah I like those little quirks though, makes the hobby interesting imo.
My newest yaschenkoi male is the most responsive and alert scorpion I've ever owned, he is like a little battle machine, he will snag a cricket before it's barely even hit the substrate and every time it moves whilst he is holding it, he will sting it.
