H. chilensis sling
Rhaegal is also in desperate need of a molt. That booty has been big for quite a while now. Such slow growers, but hopefully this little one will end up female!
Mine looked like this for 9 months before it finally moulted. But you just have to love them anyway.

@Thekla It's been almost five months since this little one molted, so hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. xD

I do adore them though. And the slow growth means they get to live such a long time. <3 <3 <3

@FlamingBooty i find that the small smaller the enclosure they are in, the more they eat. they are skittish eaters as slings. i keep mine in a 1” square only 3/4” high and they often eat their pre-killed prey more often than they were kept in larger enclosures. mine molts every few months

@ccTroi My other H. chilensis is growing much faster, but I'm starting to question if it is male. I purchased it at the same time at about the same size as this one, but it is just much more fiesty and food-motivated than this one is. It's also in a much larger enclosure now and still doing wonderfully. <3

I'm hoping this one ends up being female due to the slower growth. It is also much calmer than my larger chilensis, even at this size. I haven't had much problem getting it to eat, but it has been fasting now for a while, hopefully due to pre-molt.
